Solus is a wave-survival fps with upgradable guns and abilities. It was made in a month from scratch in Godot 4 as a fun game jam project with friends. I acted as the lead game designer and artist. The level is designed in 3 distinct sections, each with a layout that helps facilitate the use of different guns and abilities. For example, the sniper and movement abilities are great in the more open reactor deck area as the player is free to blast into the air and make use of the open sightlines.

Later portions of the video above show a demonstration of some of the map design while early portions show the gameplay as expected.
