Solus is a wave-survival fps with upgradable guns and abilities. It was made in a month from scratch in Godot 4 as a fun game jam project with friends. I acted as a level designer, environment artist, and lead game designer. There are 3 main segments of the level, and each rewards a different play style. The dock is meant for long range gunfights, the factory has more verticality and moving elements to allow the player to fight from interesting vantage points, and the reactor allows the player to take mostly close range gunfights. The overall level looks to encourage the use of movement abilities with a few ways of moving between segments.

Later portions of the video above show a demonstration of some of the map design while early portions show the gameplay as expected.
